1. Sterilize your menstrual cup and wash your hands.
2. Get into a comfortable position.
3. Pinch the edge of the shield and fold it in half to form an "8". Insert the disc into the vagina, loop end last.
4. Push the shield back and down into the vagina towards the cervix.
5. Fold the front edge behind the pubic bone to ensure that the shield fits around the cervix and collects menstrual flow properly.
